Electrical Drive Flywheel - TDP 5 v2

The Electrical Drive Flywheel for the TDP 5 is the large cog on the left hand side of the press that attaches directly to the motor via the drive belt. It is unlikely that this will ever need replacing. However it is a good idea to check the teeth on yours regularly. This part is fairly easy to fit. Firstly loosen off the motor by taking off the bolts on the motor support arm. Next remove the back cover to gain access to the nut that secures it. Undo the nut from the inside and the Drive Wheel will come loose.

As you refit your new part make sure that you do so using a couple of drive wheel mounting washers.
